Entry for November 29, 2008

We are now finally getting into the "swing" of things. The painting of the new wall for the division of the of the house into two apartments has begun. The tiling around the new shower cubicle has been completed.

We had our first frost the other day so the pool water level was lowered and the summer pool cover packed away in readiness for winter. No doubt it will be around April /May 2009 before it is full again!

The boys this morning have stocked up and bought some logs in for the fire as the temperature seems to be going down ...lots! We had a really amazing afternoon yesterday... really sunny with the bright blue sky and wispy white horsetail clouds the view over the vineyards was amazing!!... unfortunately a) i was driving and b) I did't have the camera!! If it is like it again I will try and get some photos to post on the blog then you can see what I mean!!

The trees are now nearly completely bare ..it is only at this point we ever see our neighbours house across the river!!
